      Rosena “Ena” (McNulty) Bradshaw

 

HAVERHILL, MA

 

Rosena “Ena” (McNulty) Bradshaw, of Haverhill, a native of Northern Ireland, in her ninetieth year, died Monday, August 8, at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston after a lengthy illness.

A person of strong faith, she was a devoted member of St. James Parish. She volunteered at the BINGO game nights, and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court St. James  #436.

The title “Mother” was her vocation and passion, she selflessly gave to her children. We thank God for the blessing she was to us. She leaves behind a legacy of generosity, hospitality, and lasting friendships. Always a loving smile would greet you and any new person was a friend you hadn’t made yet.

 “Ena” was the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Giffen) McNulty, devoted wife of the late Edward “Dean” Bradshaw for sixty-two years, cherished mother of , Charles R. and Mary Ann, Susan and Gerard Foley, Joseph and Ellen, Sr. Maureen Bradshaw O.P. (Sparkill), Stephen and Debra, Edward and Marilyn, Christopher and Joan, loving grandmother of, Jennifer (Scott) Mabee, Kathleen (Britt) Manor, Daniel (Rachel) Foley, Kerry, Lauren, Dean, Christopher, Tara, Maura, Brittany, and Catherine Bradshaw, great grandmother of, Ryan, Owen, and Aidan Mabee, a brother, Patrick McNulty, sisters in law, Magda and Mary McNulty, and fond aunt to several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Margaret Therese, William, Edward, Joseph McNulty, and Maureen Lixfield.

Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Thursday, from 5 until 8 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9 AM from the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in St. James Church, Winter St. Haverhill. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery, Primrose St. Haverhill. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Fr. Robert Reed, Boston Catholic TV, 34 Chestnut St. Watertown, MA 02471, or the Dominican Sisters (Development Office) 175 Rte 340 Sparkill, NY, 10976.
