Pauline A. (Marquis) Cook, 87
Haverhill, MA
Pauline A. (Marquis) Cook, 87, of Lyman, Maine, formerly of Bradford, died Sunday, March 6, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness.
Born in Newton, New Hampshire, she was educated in Newton Public Schools. She was employed as a technician at Western Electric in North Andover for over twenty-six years, retiring in 1982. After retiring she and her husband, William moved to Lyman, Maine, where she enjoyed the surrounding of the rural countryside. She loved solving puzzles, and painting, and her animals.
She leaves her beloved husband of sixty-eight years, William L. Cook, of Lyman, ME, a son, William J. Cook and his wife Sherrie, of Bradford, two daughters, Elzina L. Morse and her husband, Richard, also of Lyman, and Suzanne Beier and her husband, David, of North Port, Florida, eight grandchildren, Christina Lynch, Eric and William Beier, Tracy and Amy Cook, Melissa Martin, and Michelle and Richard Scott Morse, and two great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday at 4:00 PM, at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Calling hours will precede the services from 2 until 4:00 PM. Burial is private. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Lawrence General Hospital 1 General St. Lawrence, MA 01842.
