 James Yan, 66
LAWRENCE, MA
Lawrence - James Yan, 66 of Lawrence, died Friday, March 14, at the Lawrence General Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born and educated in Hong Kong and immigrated to this country forty-six years ago and settled in the Merrimack Valley. Mr.Yan was employed as a cook for Bob Lu’s and Silver Dragon restaurants. He loved cooking, reading, deep sea fishing, and enjoyed the occasional trip to Foxwoods.
He leaves a son and daughter in law, Scott Yan and Dawn Fuegill, of Lawrence, two grandchildren, Jared and Katie Yan, two brothers in Hong Kong, and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Saturday at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM with Funeral services to be held following visitation at 3:00 PM.
