      H. Patricia (Carney) Kimball, 77

GROVELAND, MA

H. Patricia (Carney) Kimball, 77, of Groveland, formerly of Atkinson and Haverhill, died Thursday, March 27, at Blueberry Hill Healthcare Center in Beverly.

She was born and raised in the “Acre “section of Haverhill, daughter of the late, William C. and Helen G. (Mulvaney) Carney. A lifelong member of St. James Church, she was a Graduate of St. James Grammar School and St. James High School. She resided in Atkinson NH for twenty years before relocating to Groveland this past December. Mrs. Kimball was employed as an office manager for John Hancock Insurance Co. located in Haverhill for forty-one years, retiring in 1993.

Always giving of herself and supporter of the Arts, she volunteered time at the former Hale Hospital, she was involved with the Northeast Cultural Arts Center, and enjoyed traveling the world with her beloved husband Edward, learning about different cultures and sharing her experiences with schoolchildren. She was a talented artist, painter and sculptor.

She leaves her husband of thirty-five years, Edward W. Kimball, of Groveland, step children, Sandra Kimball and her husband Donald Fraser, of Boston, Karen Ginsberg, of Dallas, TX, Steven Kimball and his wife, Dawn, of Whitinsville, MA, David Kimball and his wife Claudia, of Manassas, VA, a brother and sister in law, William and Maura Carney, of Rochester, NY, grandchildren, Hillary, Benjamin, Andrew, and Mia Kimball, Lauren Hamblet, Jeremy, Joshua, and Justin Ginsberg, nephews, Christopher, Michael, Kevin and James Carney, and niece Kathy Holland.

Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Sunday at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill from 4 to 7 PM. Funeral services will held on Monday at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in St. James Church Winter St. Haverhill. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery, Primrose St. Haverhill. Memorial contributions may be offered in her name to the St. James Capital Improvements Fund, 6 Cottage St. Haverhill, MA 01830.
