     Edwiga (Balukiewicz) Rovinski, 91

HAVERHILL, MA

Edwiga (Balukiewicz) Rovinski, 91 of Haverhill, died Monday, July 25, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family.

Edwiga was born in Haverhill on February 15, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Sophie (Repka) Balukiewicz. She was a Graduate of Haverhill High School Class of 1938 and later studied cosmetology. As a hairdresser, she owned and operated Eddie’s Beauty Salon in Riverside for over twenty-five years.

Mrs. Rovinski was very active in her youth in the former St. Michael’s Parish in Haverhill. Moving to the Riverside section of Haverhill she raised her family and became involved in St. John the Baptist Parish, and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the America’s Court St. James #436. She moved to Michigan in 1999 and returned to the Haverhill area two years ago.

The widow of John “Yarno” Rovinski, who died in 1994, she leaves her beloved sons, Richard J. and his wife, Debra L. (Klier), of Methuen, and Michael E. and his wife, Kimberly (Kopko), of, Franklin, MI, five cherished grandchildren, Audra Rovinski Dellinger and her husband Brad, of Charlotte, NC, Adam Rovinski, of Methuen, Alex, Andrew, and Austin Rovinski, of Michigan, and a great grandson, Harrison Dellinger. She was predeceased by her siblings, Jennie, Michael, and Edward Balukiewicz.
