      Edward R. Huberdeau, 59

Haverhill, MA

Edward R. Huberdeau, 59, of Bradford, died Friday December 18, at the Merrimack Valley hospital after being stricken ill suddenly at home.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late, Raymond and Helen (O’Neil) Huberdeau. He attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a 1968 Graduate of Haverhill High School.

In his early years, Mr. Huberdeau was employed as a forklift operator at the former Haverhill Paperboard in Bradford. Edward loved all types of music, especially the Blues. He enjoyed astrology and used his telescope often. A lover of animals, he also had an affinity to children, especially his nieces and nephews, with whom he was very close.

His closest friend, cousin, and caregiver, Theresa Collins, predeceased him by three days. His survivors include his brother and sister in law, Gene and Elizabeth (Jones) Huberdeau, of Groveland, a sister, Norma Barone, of Haverhill, Nieces and nephews and their spouses, Liz and John Cena, of FL, Rebecca and Patrick Murphy, of SC, Anthony and Kathleen Barone, Leonard and Katherine Barone, Geno and Sophia Barone, and Michael Barone, all of Haverhill, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Monday from 4:00 until 7:30 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will be held immediately following the period of visitation at 7:30 PM in the funeral home. A private burial will take place at the convenience of his family.
