Carol Ann Edith (Burnell) Sulesky, 74
HAVERHILL, MA
Carol Ann Edith (Burnell) Sulesky, 74, of Haverhill, died Sunday, January 30, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill.
Born in Haverhill, January 30, 1937, she was the daughter of the late, Milton W. and Eleanor A. (Page) Burnell. She attended St. Joseph Grammar and Haverhill High School.
Mrs. Sulesky was employed in the Haverhill shoe manufacturing industry for many years. She then went to work at DYTEX Co. in Haverhill and retired in 1990.
Along with being a homemaker, she loved cooking, and as an active member of the Haverhill AMVETS Post #147 ladies auxiliary, she enjoyed sharing her culinary delights with other members.
The widow of Donald Sulesky, who died in 2009, she leaves her beloved daughters, Karen A. and Maureen A. Sulesky, both of Haverhill,a sister, Marlene Rodier, of Candia, NH, four brothers, Norman Burnell and his wife Donna, of Lewiston, ME, Paul Burnell, John Burnell, and Richard and his wife Betty, all of Haverhill, and many nieces and nephew. She was predeceased by a grandson, Michael Frank Sulesky, and a sister, Frances McLean, of Haverhill.
At the request of Mrs. Sulesky, there are no calling hours. A springtime graveside service and burial will take place on a date to be determined. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 Merrimack St. Bldg. 9, Entrance 1, Lawrence, MA 01843. Arrangements are by the Kevin B.
